The Eastern Partnership Summit will provide an opportunity to evaluate the progress achieved in relations between the EU and the Eastern Partners since the last Summit in Vilnius, and to identify and begin to formulate new strategic guidance on further steps to be taken.

The Summit will also allow for an initial exchange of views on the results of the provisional application of the three Association Agreements signed with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine while simultaneously strengthening ties with Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus. New projects of common interest - inter alia the creation of a common European economic area - might be a topic for discussion during the Summit.
