On 15-16 June, the participants will visit the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region Forum on "Achieving E-Quality by Connecting the Region", in which NGOs will be able to become acquainted with the strategy challenges and achievements and to meet with the decision-makers.
On 17 June, the Baltic Sea Region NGOs will meet with Latvian NGOs to discuss the Baltic Sea Region activities in Talsi at 10:00. CAL will chair the discussion and will report on the progress made in the development of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. Event programme is available here.
Representatives from 18 NGOs not only from the Baltic Sea Region – Denmark, Estonia, Republic of Karelia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland and Sweden – but also from the Black Sea and the Danube Region are involved in the project. During the working visit, the participants will develop a strategic communication document on organised civil society cooperation in the three regions of the EU with the aim of strengthening the human quality of life in each of them.
