Agenda highlights

Ministers will discuss current trends and further action on migratory flows in Europe.

They are also expected to adopt a partial general approach on the general data protection regulation. This partial general approach would cover the section on principles (chapter II) and the so-called one-stop-shop mechanism, to be used for certain supervisory decisions (chapters VI and VII ).

The Council will also discuss the implementation of measures to fight terrorism. It will focus on the follow up to the statement by the heads of state and government on 12 February and the joint statement by justice and home affairs ministers on 29 January.
