It is a two-day meeting: the Ministers for Home Affairs meet on the first day on 29 January, and the Ministers for Justice on the second day on 30 January.

The Informal EU Council Meeting of Ministers for Justice and Home Affairs will bring together Member State Ministers for Justice and Home Affairs and representatives from the European Commission, General Secretariat of the Council, the European Parliament, the European External Action Service and EU Justice and Home Affairs Agencies.The main issues on the agenda in the area of Home Affairs are counter-terrorism and better management of migratory flows.

The main issues on the agenda in the area of Justice are personal data protection, further development of digital justice concept and judicial aspects of counter - terrorism.

On 29 January the second half of the day will be devoted to Joint EU and Eastern Partnership Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting on Reforms in the Judicial and Law enforcement area.
