On 18-19 June 2015 an informal meeting will be held in Riga for EU Forest Directors, at which the results of the 11th United Nations Forum on Forests and the development of the Forest Europe process will be discussed.

An excursion is also planned to Latvijas valsts meži to show participants this company's forest management and wood processing practices.

Participants from major forestry-based bodies in the Member States, international forestry institutions and the Secretariat General will take part in the meeting.
