The main objective of the Green Bridge Forum is to strengthen environmental governance in the Central Asian countries and enhance cooperation between the EU and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

This forum highlights environmental and water resources management, energy efficiency and renewable energy issues as key cooperation areas for the EU and Central Asian countries in order to intensify the policy dialogue, enhance cooperation and develop business opportunities.

The forum is divided into two parts. On 15-17 April, the participants will discuss political and international cooperation, and then on 18 April they will visit Latvian clean technology enterprises and their environmental technology facilities. During this visit they will have the opportunity to establish business contacts.
