During each presidency it is a tradition to organise the European Police College (CEPOL) conference or seminar. The State Police of Latvia has chosen to organise “Cybercrime – strategic level” conference on issues regarding cybercrimes which are directly related to one of the priorities of the Latvian Presidency – Digital Europe.

It will focus on the topical issues of the operation of the EU law enforcement agencies as well as the cross-border cooperation among police services. The participants will discuss the EU law enforcement in the Member States and problems and challenges in cross-border cooperation when investigating cybercrimes. A special focus will be on the cooperation with the law enforcement agencies from the Eastern Partnership countries in the solving of cybercrime cases and prevention of them. The discussion will also be on challenges related to successfully investigating crimes committed by organised crime groups.
