The Trio colorato (Colourful Trio) ensemble consists of musicians from all three countries of the current EU Council presidency trio: Italy, Latvia, and Luxembourg. The trio, which has been playing together since 2009, performs classical music.

The talented young flute player, Agnese Nikolovska, represents Latvia. She has won many national and international competitions and currently lives in Luxembourg. Her partners in the trio are Carlo Jans, professor of flute and chamber music at the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg, and the Italian cellist, Stéphane Giampellegrini.
