The participants in the Competent Authorities for Medical Devices (CAMD) meeting are national  representatives of competent authorities for medical devices in the EU Member States and their counterparts from the European Economic Area, European Free Trade Association, European Commission and Association Agreement partners (Turkey). The aim of the meeting is to develop the European regulatory system through coordination, communication and cooperation, in order to encourage the equal interpretation of legal requirements.
