During the European e-Skills Conference high-level officials will discuss the progress of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs and European initiatives on e-skills. On the basis of plenary sessions, discussions and working groups, recommendations will be drawn up on the implementation and evaluation of the goals of the European Union initiatives on e-skills.

The conference is organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development in cooperation with the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association. The conference will be attended by representatives from the European Commission as well as industrial policy makers, industry and education experts and NGO representatives involved in e-skill promotion.
