Latvia can be proud of its enterprising, clever and creative people who have surprised the whole world with their ideas. Origo Shopping Centre as the intersection of Riga city's events introduces some of the most notable ideas created in Latvia in the field of competitiveness and innovations. These ideas can be seen in the Amazing Latvian ideas outdoor exhibition that demonstrates the success stories of 11 companies in various industries from the birth of the idea through to its dissemination globally.

Authentic Whitehall wooden boats

The authentic wooden boats built at the Mr.Magpie Boat workshop in Latvia are considered to be unique examples, because currently, there are hardly any place in the world where original Whitehall boats are built. In the Whitehall factory in the USA they are built from glass fibre, and in Norway and Sweden, they are built using other technologies that do not fully correspond to a Whitehall boat in terms of dimensions, appearance or materials.
