The Heads of SIRENE (Supplementary information request at the national entry) Bureaux meeting in Latvia will assess the quality of the cooperation between Member States' SIRENE Bureaux, discuss necessary technical or organisational measures to improve cooperation in problematic situations and specify procedures for information exchange. In addition, issues regarding the training of SIRENE bureaux employees and its contents will be discussed. The Heads of SIRENE Bureaux in all the EU Member States and EFTA Member States (Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) as well as representatives from the Commission, the General Secretariat of the Council and the EU Agency for Large-scale IT Systems (eu-LISA) will take part in the meeting.
