The European Medical and Psychological Experts’ Network for Law Enforcement was established as a platform for experts in these fields to exchange experience and strengthen cooperation. It can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of medical and psychological services in the law enforcement field. Psychological assessment, psychological support/care for police officers and promoting the scientific activities of medical and psychological experts in the field of law enforcement are the fields of collaboration that were included in the Council of the European Union Resolution on the creation of EMPEN.
