Agenda highlights

The Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) will focus on the trade and investment partnership with the United States (TTIP), more specifically on the provisions for the settlement of investor-state disputes.

EU ministers will also discuss the preparations for the WTO's 10th ministerial conference, in Nairobi in December 2015:

- the WTO's Doha Development Agenda
- the ongoing negotiations on an environmental goods agreement

The Council will discuss trade relations with the EU eastern partners, in view of the preparation of the upcoming summit in Riga. 

A meeting between EU ministers and their eastern partners counterparts will be organised in the afternoon of the Council session.
