The 23rd EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations) Annual Council Meeting and EBLIDA-NAPLE (National Authorities on Public Libraries in Europe) Conference is the most significant annual library forum in Europe. The theme of the Riga conference is “Building a Europe of Readers”, and during the conference the following topics will be discussed: the role of libraries in society, support for literacy and lifelong learning processes, and e-lending in libraries.
