Members of the DLM Forum Foundation meet twice a year for a two-day meeting which is traditionally hosted by the country that holds the EU presidency. This time it will be organised in Riga on 16-17 June 2015.

The meeting is organised as a conference and its main theme is information governance, covering topics such as information policy and standards, information re-use issues in the private and public sectors, risk management, best practice in information management, e-archiving issues, experiences with MoReq2010 implementation, and others. The participants will address opportunities to harmonise our understanding, approaches and activities in the broad field of information governance.

The DLM Forum Foundation was created in the mid-1990s on the basis of a European Commission working group established to seek solutions in the field of electronic records management. In the 20 years since then, the DLM Forum has grown into an influential global organisation whose calling card is its MoReq specification of the core functional requirements of document systems.
