An away day for the Committee of the European Social Fund (ESF) will be organised in Latvia to give the representatives of the EU Member States (from state administration bodies and social partners) the opportunity to come together and discuss topical issues related to ESF implementation in each EU Member State. During the meeting the European Commission will explain to the representatives topical issues regarding legislation – delegated and implementing acts as well as different guidelines and terms that should be taken into consideration in the implementation of ESF projects.

The discussion will centre on examples of good practice and the challenges faced by representatives from different fields when dealing with the implementation of the projects. The participants at the meeting will also go on ESF project visits, thus giving Latvia the opportunity to demonstrate its examples of good practice face-to-face. The project implementers will have the opportunity to share their experiences with representatives from other countries.
