The EuroNanoForum conference is the most important event in its sector in Europe and serves as a platform for discussions among scientists, industry representatives and policy-makers, as well as entrepreneurs.

Overall, the EuroNanoForum 2015 conference is the largest nanotechnology event in Europe, bringing together about 1 200 participants from 50 countries. The main theme of EuroNanoForum 2015 is "Nanotechnology for European competitiveness."

During the conference, representatives from the nanotechnology industry will deliver speeches covering a wide range of topics at 15 different sessions. As part of the Nanotech Europe exhibition, the Latvijas Saiets (Latvian Gathering) event will demonstrate outstanding practices by Latvian research and innovative businesses.

Industry and SME representatives, investors and policy-makers will discuss various topics related to the event, ranging from education to entrepreneurship.

EuroNanoForum 2015 is organised in collaboration with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, and is co-financed by the Horizon 2020 EU research and innovation programme. The University of Latvia (UL) is the organiser the conference in partnership with the UL Institute of Solid State Physics, the UL Institute of Polymer Mechanics, the UL Institute of Physics, Riga Technical University and the Latvian Technological Centre.
