The Latvian folk dance ensemble, Daiļrade, will perform at one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world – the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) or 'Giant Egg' in Beijing.

The ensemble has prepared a special programme that features classical choreographies of Latvian folk dances as well as modern original dances.The performance will give the audience the opportunity to get to know Latvia, its various folk costumes and traditions. The dances will be accompanied by a narrative about the country, its nature, the Song and Dance Celebrations and the people involved in the performance.

Next year, the Daiļrade dance ensemble from Riga will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The ensemble is currently made up of about 60 dancers.
