A two-day Informal Meeting of Competitiveness Ministers will be held on 26-27 March, 2015 in Riga. It will bring together ministers of the European Economic Area in charge of internal market and industry, representatives from the European Commission, General Secretariat of the Council and the European Parliament.

As the EU must seize digital opportunities in order to deliver smart sustainable and inclusive growth the main theme for the Informal meeting will be the EU digital economy. Discussions will be organised in three sessions covering the role of EU Single Market in the digital economy, digitalisation of industry and digital entrepreneurship issues.

In order to achieve fruitful debates among the keynote speakers will be leaders from local and EU business community.
