Agenda highlights

Ministers will discuss the role of EU foreign policy in the implementation of the EU's energy union. 

The Council will also hold a strategic debate on Asia, covering cooperation with ASEAN and China. It will also focus on EU support to connectivity between Asian countries.

EU NAVFOR MED will be on the agenda.

Finding solutions to migratory pressures

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will join for a lunch discussion on issues including EU-UN cooperation, Libya, Syria, Yemen and migration.

The EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Council will take place in the margins of the Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
