Today’s Education for Development of Future Society

Latvian Disabled Children and Youth Sport federation (LDCYSF) in collaboration with the Riga’s Teacher Training and Education Management Academy will implement a project titled “Today’s Education for Development of the Future Society” that will be organised within the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU. The project aims to introduce national and international education professionals and society with the innovative trends of inclusive education to improve availability of sources at the state, society and private sector in order to implement inclusive education policies. Project events will take place in all regions of Latvia.
International seminars:
8 April, 2015
Title: “Innovative and interdisciplinary life-long education to ensure sustainable society development”.
Place: Alūksne.
Title: “Interdisciplinary support model for improving physical and mental health of school age children”
Place: Jēkabpils
9 April, 2015
Title: “The role of municipality and state to meet the current needs in the school environment”
Place: Kuldīga
Title: “Inclusive education in promoting social equality”.
Place: Cēsis
At the end of the four seminars the International Conference “Theory for practice in the education of contemporary society" will be organised on 10 April in Riga. In total about 600 participants will take part in the project seminars and conference, including about 50 participants from Europe. The outcomes of discussions from the seminars will be included in the Resolution document that will be discussed and approved in the conference. The information on project events will be regularly posted on websites of the Latvian Disabled Children and Youth Sport Federation and the Riga’s Teacher Training and Education Management Academy.
