Representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture of the EU and six Eastern European partner countries will take part in the conference on "Rural and Agricultural Advisory Systems (RAAS): Best Practices and Experiences in the Eastern Partnership" to be held in Riga during the Latvian Presidency of the EU Council on 15-16 April 2015. At the conference, discussions will focus on the rural advisory system, examples of best practices and the sharing of experience. An excursion is also planned to an agricultural enterprise in order to demonstrate examples of best practice.

The conference is organized by the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Panel on Agriculture and Rural Development.
